The Inverted Nipple has a Solution!

According to statistics 17% of the population, mostly women suffer from Umbilicate or Inverted Nipples.

The nipple is one centimetre long and one centimetre in diameter, while the areola is approximately three centimetres in diameter.

It is not easy to classify nipples by their appearance. They vary considerably in size, shape, texture, symmetry, colour and relationship to the areola and the size of the breast. We would define a normal nipple as one that protrudes (i.e. moves forward or protrudes) a few millimetres above the areola, protruding further through temperature stimulation or contact.

The inverted nipple or umbilicated nipple does not protrude too much or too little, but remains "hidden" within its areola, remaining in an even deeper plane than the nipple. In the medical classification, three degrees are used, depending on the possibility of protrusion after stimulation or manipulation. Thus, in grade 3 or maximum, after stimulation the nipple does not protrude at all; while in grade 1 or minimum, the nipple protrudes and remains protruding after stimulation.

Inverted nipples are usually caused by a shortening of the breast ducts or by dense connective tissue linking the areola and nipple to the mammary gland.

The problem of an inverted nipple can occur in one or both breasts.

For this type of problem we can find a medical solution through a surgical operation or something less invasive and expensive as in the case of this post, the Aesthetic Repair Piercing.

In these cases, if the nipple protrudes from the breast when stimulated, however slight, it may be possible to fix it with a repair piercing.

I leave you the link of a Piercer who has been doing Aesthetic Repairing Piercing for more than 15 years. www.pezoninvertido.com

All these examples have been solved with a repair piercing as you can see.

  1. Hi, I went to get my nipple pierced today and they couldn't do it because it doesn't stick out enough, I have an inverted nipple, can't I get one?

  2. Girls, if your nipples do not protrude enough for the piercieng, you should apply ice to stimulate the nipple before marking and then apply the piercieng.
