In this article we will point out the acupuncture points on the ear called Auricultherapy and try to see the relationship with some piercings that are performed on the outer ear.<\/p>

Acupuncture is designed to restore the natural flow of vital energy, also known as\u00a0qi<\/em>. This technique, which is over 3000 years old, involves pricking the skin with a needle, identifying strategic points throughout the body, to relieve any tension caused by qi disruption or blockage.\u00a0<\/p>

Auricultherapy It is a technique derived from acupuncture that consists of the stimulation of the external auricle of the ear in order to diagnose and treat different health problems located in other parts of the body.<\/p>

The ears consist of over 200 acupressure points (many of us have used those little balls that you stick and press when an area hurts) that can help balance the mind and body. That's why several studies have proven that auriculotherapy can have a great effect when it comes to migraines, chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation and general wellbeing.<\/p>

This close relationship between \"energy\" points has led to certain piercings being directly related to acupuncture points and many advocate the wellbeing they produce.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Located in the inner crease of the ear<\/strong>,\u00a0daith piercing is thought to relieve symptoms of recurrent migraines<\/strong>.<\/p>

It is one of the most popular piercings, especially for people who suffer from recurrent headaches. The survey indicates that it is not a piercing that customers ask for because of the benefits it brings, but more for its aesthetics.<\/p>

You can read in many blog's that if you stimulate or perforate<\/strong>,\u00a0this area can relieve allergies and soothe symptoms of congestion or sore throats<\/strong>.<\/p>

The tragus of the ear is that small piece of cartilage in front of the ear canal.
